About Leanne Ford

Leanne Ford is an American interior designer admired for her modern yet lived-in aesthetic, signature “white on white” palette, and accessible approach to design. After a decade working in fashion, she first gained national attention in the interiors world when she restored and redesigned a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse in her hometown of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.

Ford and her work have been widely featured in publications including Architectural Digest, Domino, House Beautiful, and The New York Times. Television audiences recognize her from HGTV’s Restored by the Fords and Home Again with the Fords, the renovation series she co-hosted with her brother, Steve.

She is also known for her product collaborations with global brands including Crate & Barrel, Target, and Loloi Rugs, with more on the way. With the launch of her magazine Feel Free, Ford expanded her creative mission by encouraging readers to embrace the joy of creating. Her first design book, The Slow Down, invited readers inside her Pennsylvania home and introduced her philosophy of easy living.

Her newest book, Feel Free Home: The Ultimate Issue of Feel Free Magazine (May 12th, 2026), builds on that ethos as a hands-on, workbook-style guide that helps readers create spaces rooted in texture, nature, vintage, art, and personality — just like hers.
